Ray O’Connor is a Partner of Energy Capital Ventures (ECV), a strategic venture capital firm focused on the innovation needs and decarbonization objectives of the regulated utility industries. Mr. O’Connor is also a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. in New York.
Previously, he worked at JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America and their predecessor institutions. Ray has spent over 30 years in the investment banking business, based in both New York and London, providing strategic, capital raising and capital markets and derivative products and services to a broad range of industries with a particular focus on the Energy and regulated and unregulated Utility industries.
Mr. O’Connor has a BA in economics from Boston College and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
